Eligibility Criteria – BSF Recrutment 2021 :
Educational Qualification :
Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent Diploma course in Draftsmanship (Civil) from any recognized Board in India.
Head Constable (Carpenter) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter.
Head Constable (Plumber) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Plumber.
Constable (Generator Operator) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Electrician/Wireman/Diesel/Motor Mechanic.
Constable (Generator Mechanic) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic.
Constable (Lineman) Post :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Electrical wireman or Lineman.
Age Limits :
Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of the form.
Relaxation in the upper age :
By 5 years for SC/ST/PH categories.
By 3 years for OBC categories.
Application fee – BSF Recruitment 2021 :
The application fee for this vacancy is given below.
The applicants belonging to the General/OBC category require to pay Rs 100 as an application fee.
There is no application fee for those candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH categories.
The application fee will submit using the Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Selection Process :
Only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria will be permitted to appear in a written test. The admit card for the written test will be issued online only to the eligible candidates along with the date, time, and venue of the exam and necessary instructions through the BSF Recruitment portal.
After completing the written exam, the department will hold PST and PET to the candidates qualifying written exam.
The final merit list for selection to the above-prescribed posts will be issued online only to the final selected candidates for the positions of ASI, Constable, and Head Constable through the BSF Recruitment Portal.
